Communication. Connection. Accountability.

Communication. Connection. Accountability.

my plan

I want SCO to go towards working for the betterment of student’s and the administration through making events and school spirit more engaging, fun, and accessible. Along with having clearer communication with the student body about things like policy and what SCO is working on at any given time.

Young man with dark hair, glasses, and a slight smile, standing in a hallway.

Who am I?

My name is Cayden Curry, candidate for EMHS SCO President for the academic year 2026-2027. I am a rising junior, manager for the boys’ varsity basketball team, director of photography for Windsock, Christmas Fund Drive Leader, and one of the sophomore representatives for SCO Forum. Next year will be my 8th year at EMS.

Outside of my leadership experience, I participate in choir, theatre productions, and Model UN.

These experiences have allowed me to connect with people of many backgrounds, whether it’s the arts or sports.

since i am a junior next year, I will come into my presidency with both high school experience and momentum, allowing me to look past next year for changes in school policy, event scheduling, etc.

If you have any questions about me, my campaign, or anything else, email me at cayden.curry@emhs.net, or stop me in the hallway. im open to a conversation at any time.

Platform

My platform is based around communication, school spirit, and student involvement. I want SCO to be connected to the student body through announcements about meetings and events via mediums such as social media and Windsock. I also want to have public polls for things such as spirit week themes (including class colors), and event planning. I also want to strengthen SCO’s connection with Wildfire, strengthening school spirit and pep rallies, while also creating student-led halftime events to make sporting events more engaging for students.
